For those of you who don’t know, the Canadian Press published a story yesterday about a new poll that says Canadians are not very pleased with the government’s approach to the economy and the economy in general. The survey also found that many Canadians think the government is out of touch on those very issues.
And as bad as the economy has been? It hasn’t been as bad as you and I would have feared.
The numbers that matter are what Canadians want.
This is a positive survey for Canada, at least if we want to improve our collective situation and, in the process, work in the national interest.
