Does it have a hand?
The Ford logo has been in use since 1956. The original was a hand-drawn drawing of a hand by a man who drew the Ford motor car. At the Ford Motor Company, the hand-drawn Ford logo is on vehicles and in advertising literature. The hand-drawn logo can be found in the front of the driver’s and front-seat passenger’s seat, in the rear of one of the seats, on the driver’s and front-seat passenger’s side mirror, and as a part of the front panel of the driver’s and front-seat passenger’s seat cushion.
From 1958 to 1995, only the back of a single model was the hand-drawn Ford logo to the front of the vehicle. The back of each vehicle was covered with the letters and numbers of the vehicle manufacture, such as C-F, H-E and R-E. In 1995, the front was redesigned and changed to the Ford design. At this time, only a single hand-drawn Ford logo was placed on the front of a vehicle.
From 1994 to 1996, all the front of a vehicle was the hand-drawn logo. On 1995, the back was redesigned. Prior to 1995, all vehicle components that were not hand-painted for identification only had the initials N-M. In 1995, the front only contained the letters N, M, M and K. The letter “R” has been omitted from this series for the safety of the manufacturer. The “R” in “Ford” stands for “Racing”.
From 1997 on, the Ford logo has been the center of the front of a vehicle, and has replaced the back. However, some vehicles have the Ford logo in the back of a vehicle.
What does “N-M” stand for?
“N-M” stands for “National Metal Processing.” In its original design, it stood for “National Materials Processing”. It has been changed on 1997 to “National Metal Finishing.”
What does “H-E” stand for?
“H-E” stands for High Efficiency Electric, which used to be known as High Efficiency Liquid Metal Coating. It was replaced in the 1990s with a new brand name, High Efficiency Fuel.
