It’s very important to keep in mind that all of your thoughts and ideas should be fresh and new and in a moment of new awareness. You should not have your brain preoccupied with too many past or future ideas because the first thing to remember is to be completely honest and open with yourself when you begin to think of making an idea. The first idea you make is never going to be the one you want to make. As you are still in the flow of this energy, your mind may wander to other past ideas or to other people that might fit in with your current situation. When you think to yourself something like, “I think I will want to make an idea out of this idea”, you are taking a piece of something, your subconscious, that you don’t know how to give a full explanation for. You might find this idea more interesting than you thought, and in fact you might become excited about the idea. But be sure not to try to control it, because the next thing you do is decide to create something else out of that idea. Don’t try to get a full explanation of a feeling, because by then it might be too late.
I had that idea, what should I do?
Well, you need not start over with a new idea without talking to somebody. You also need to have a few trusted friends and acquaintances that you can just start by telling them a few interesting things that happened in your life recently. You don’t have to go to a therapist or any mental health professional to hear them out, but you should always listen to what they have to say, because you don’t know what is really going on when you’re feeling a certain way. If you don’t think you could share with people what happened in your life, then don’t talk about it. And you’ve probably already got your reasons for not sharing that particular thing, so leave it alone.
The next step is a great place to start. Be sure that your feelings are still fresh and not filled with fear, and that you don’t have any other ideas or thoughts in your mind that you are hiding. When you feel that your thoughts are getting in the way, start letting them go. Talk to a trusted friend about your problems and your feelings. Then move on to the next step. There is no need to force yourself to be honest about a feeling to another person, because you are not going to get anywhere with that behavior.
