There was nothing quite like watching one of the many episodes of America’s Got Talent to get you fired up about the latest celebrity contest. These are some of my favorite contestant scenes, in no particular order. We are now just days away from America’s Got Talent making the annual tradition of the biggest celebrity contest of the year in our nation’s capital. We’re not talking about the national talent show hosted by Oprah Winfrey’s daughter, but rather the much smaller one hosted by former President George H.W. Bush. I love both of ’em—I think I’d be able to pick a winner of this game even if both got hit by a truck—but the Bush show is so much more fun!
(And if you don’t know who George W. Bush is, just google him, because he really is really famous. I’ve seen at least 30 images of him.)

10. “I’m Here To Show You The Way”
There was only one person who knew that this was Bush’s last show before he leaves office. Bush’s sister said she knew it before the show and did it himself. It probably was a terrible idea, but this is one of the best final performances. You’ve still got to love his sense of humor.
9. “Sitting In The Sun”
And then Bush would go home and play on his laptop. Like a lot of his moments, he doesn’t let the music distract him in the same way Bush always does. He just plays like it’s the first time he ever plays on anything.
