You need a spray tank to get the best results. Look for one that’s larger than your tank. I like my smaller tank at about 4 gallons. That means your line is wider and the tank is bigger to give proper coverage.
Also, you want to keep the sprayer moving, as it will move the color back and forth between the lines. And, remember your lines are always getting lighter as you spray.
Here’s a picture of a regular spray bottle with my color swatch in it. As you can see, when the sprayer is moving around the colors go from lighter to darker.
Use a brush with a small amount of paint to get the line of best coverage
You’ll need to paint at least three spots on each side of your line for the best coverage. Make sure to always brush onto as a “dot” to avoid being too aggressive.
