Why Krylon?
Krylon Ultra-Lite, Ultra-Rite and Ultra-Vite sealers are highly durable and easy to use. They’re the first spray paint that will not transfer to paper, cardboard, or any other hard material. And, in fact, it’s easy – you dip it right into a jar of Krylon spray paint and follow the easy directions to apply the sealer. And there are no dry-on stains – a coating can be left to dry for weeks, if not months, until it’s time to paint the door.
How much paint can I apply?
About 1/4″ in all directions by itself or about 6-8 coats of Krylon Ultra-Vite.
Is the window sealer easy and fast to apply?
This is what we’re working on the most!
When working with Krylon Ultra-Lite, one of our first orders is for a set of special spray paint bottles that you can fill or empty with any amount of Krylon Ultra-Lite, using the instructions. These special empty bottles will make filling spray paint an easier job because all you have to do is fill one or more of the spray canisters until the area around the door where you want the window sealer is all sealed. No more empty bottles for all the cleaning! Once it’s time to paint the door, just spray the surface and apply the sealer and your done!
Is this all the possible use for a window sealer?
Yes! Now you can seal your window with Krylon Ultra-Lite, Ultra-Rite and Ultraspeed for added grip.
Can I use the window sealer on metal or hardwood door?
Yes, the window sealer can also be used to bond the door and frames to metal or hardwood doors. If these joints are a tight fit (for example, as they’re on hinges) they can be filled with Krylon Ultra-Lite, Ultra-Rite and Ultraspeed for added grip. But if it’s just a couple of very tightly held joints, like in the door’s frame, we recommend using dry-on stains to complete the seal. If dry-on stains won’t work, the closest thing you can get the door to is a dry wall joint.
